The Chief Justice of Lahore High Court on Monday issued notice to the federal government for march 14 in a civil miscellaneous application challenging facilities being provided to murderer Raymond Davis at Kot Lakhpat jail.
Barrister, Javed Iqbal Jaffrey prayed the court to direct the jail authorities to withdraw all the facilities being provided to the accused. Barrister Jaffrey alleged that the accused was enjoying facilities of cellular phone, internet and extraordinary tight security in violation of standards written in jail manual.
