Chief Collector Customs (North), Aftab Alam Baloch has assured the immediate redressal of the complaints and grievances and provision of all possible facilities to Afghan Transit Trade related businessmen. Talking to a delegation of Afghan Transit Trade Group here at Amangarh Dry Port, he also directed Customs Collectorate, Peshawar to resolve the problems of the business community with mutual consultations.
The delegation headed by the president of the Group, Haji Gul Afzal Shinwari, general secretary, Farooq Ahmad and members executive included Ishtiaq Ahmad, Shakeel Ahmad chairman Sarhad Chamber's Standing Committee on Railways and Dry Port, Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi and chairman Afghan Transit Trade Committee, Abdul Hameed Gurwara.
The delegation briefed him on the problems including ban on the part shipment at Amangarh Customs Station and referring of file to additional collection on pity mistakes in ATTI document, disallowing of downloading good on original ATTI, complicated procedure of clearance and clearance of NLC vehicles at Peshawar Cantonment and City Transit Station.-PR
