All Karachi Inter School Bilingual Declamation Contest 2011 was held at Defence Authority College For Women Phase-VII here on Tuesday. Two students each from 10 leading schools of the metropolis participated in the declamation. They enthusiastically spoke on various contemporary subjects and displayed their confidence, knowledge and brilliant oratory skills before the audience.
Faisal Subzwari, Sindh Provisional Minister for Youth Affairs was the chief guest of the function. He said the government gave special emphasis to youth of the nation and was providing them opportunities for developing their talent. In this connection government was patronising and encouraging holding of youth festivals regularly with a view to provide the younger generation a platform to come forward and show their abilities and talents, he added.
He said the best investment for future was to invest in youth, which would ensure a bright future for the nation and the investment would be harvested in form of a better tomorrow. He said that youth development centres were being established in various cities of Sindh, as well as Students Exchange Programmes were being introduced. He urged the students to remember the days of trials and tribulations they had undergone when they were in a position of eminence and to contribute positively for the society.-PR
