The Swiss franc clung to recent gains on Thursday as worries about rising tensions in the Middle East supported the traditional safe haven currency. The franc was up 0.1 percent against the euro compared to the New York close, trading at 1.30 per euro at 0752 GMT. The franc was around 0.2 percent firmer against the dollar at 0.9576 per dollar.
