London copper rallied above $10,000 early on Monday, while Shanghai metal rose 1 percent after a surprise jump in Chinese copper imports and hopes of continued restocking by the world's top consumer. Shanghai's most active copper contract rose 750 yuan to 76,270 yuan. China's imports of copper rose to 364,240 tonnes in January, from 344,558 tonnes in the previous month, data showed on Monday. Aluminium rose $16 to $2,512.
