Journalists' community has expressed deep concerns over the delay of establishment of journalists' colony in Sialkot. They said that the project of setting up of the proposed colony is in doldrums since long due to unknown reason.
Punjab government is spending huge funds on various projects pertaining to public welfare but it is very unfortunate that the journalist community of Sialkot is being treated step motherly. Journalists' colonies are being developed in different cities of the country but Sialkot-based journalists are being deprived from their due right.
Journalists appealed Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to take immediate step for resolving the longstanding issue to facilitate the community of Sialkot.
