The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) will help restore 86 partner schools in the flood-affected districts of the province. According to the rehabilitation plan, a sum of Rs 0.1 million for completely damaged school and Rs 35,000 for partially damaged school, will be provided by the PEF.
This was stated by Chairman Punjab Education Foundation, Raja Muhammad Anwar while presiding over a departmental meeting of PEF programme directors and departmental heads at his office. PEF Chairman Raja Anwar hoped that the rehabilitation plan would ensure resumption of academic activities in the marooned areas.
The meeting was informed about the steps taken by the Punjab Education Foundation for the rehabilitation of the schools in flood-hit districts of the province.
Raja Anwar directed the PEF high-ups to take concrete steps for the promotion of education in economically deprived districts of Southern Punjab.
