Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan's mother laid to rest at Chakri graveyard amid in tears here on Thursday.
The notable of the areas and prominent personalities including Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, Chairman Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Raja Zafarul Haq, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Secretary General Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, President PML(N) Punjab Zulfiqar Khosa, PML(N) leader Khawaja Asif, Senator Ishaq Dar, Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Zamurd Khan, Chaudhry Aitazaz Ahsan, Member National Assembly (MNA) Ayaz Sadiq, MNA Hanif Abbasi, MNA Shakil Awan, MNA Malik Abrar, Shakil Anwar Butt, Anwar Abbasi, Commissioner Rawalpindi Zahid Saeed, District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) Imdad Ullah Bosal, Regional Police Officer, Civil and military high officials, journalists, lawyers participated the funeral procession.
It is mentioned that strict security measures were taken on the occasion to avert any untoward incident. Walk through gates were also installed on the entrance of Janaza Gah while traffic wardens were deputed to maintain traffic flow and to help the mourners to reach the destination easily.
