Mayor praises efforts of DMC Central, Bahria Town

KARACHI: Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar praised the efforts of Dstrict Central administration and Bahria Town for lifting of 0.2mn tonnes of garbage from different areas of the district.

He was speaking to a ceremony held in the office of the district Central on the completion of cleanliness drive carried out by the district with the help of Bahria Town.

DMC Central Chairman Rehan Hashmi, Vice Chairman Shakir Ali, Bahria town Commander Zulfiqar Memon, Commodore(R) Naeem and other officers were also present.

Mayor said the garbage was lifted from Liaquatabd, Nazimabd, North Nazimabad, Gulberg, Bufferzone and other areas.

He thanked the chairman of Bahria Town Malik Riaz for providing support and cooperation for this noble cause.
