KARACHI: District Municipal Corporation Korangi Chairman Syed Nayar Raza said on Tuesday that municipal arrangements would soon be ensured along the routes of processions, mosques, and other congregations on the eve of Eid Milad.
He said this while presiding over a high-level meeting with heads of Korangi municipal officials.
Nayer directed the DMC Korangi officials to ensure municipal facilities as soon as possible with the joint efforts of people on the occasion of blessed event.
The streets, roads and narrow lanes should be cleansed properly, waste material should also be removed from every part of Korangi especially near procession routes and prayer places, while wall-chalking and illegal encroachments should be removed, Nayer said
He suggested officials to get in touch with all chairmen, vice chairmen of Union Committee and Ward Councilors to take every possible step to meet public facilities and ensure all municipal arrangements.
