Senate passes three resolutions

ISLAMABAD: The Senate on Monday passed three resolutions, which had been moved by the lawmakers on different issues.

The motion moved by Syed Tahir Hussain Mashhadi asked the government to take immediate steps to ensure safety and security of all educational, religious and other public places in (ICT).

The second motion, moved by Tahid Hussain Mashhadi asked the government to take effective steps to strengthen police and other security institutions in the federal capital on modern lines.

The third, motion moved by Senator, Dr Jehanzeb Jamaldini asked the government to establish a research institute (Think Tank) to give its input to the government on different national and international issues.
