Nawaz Sharif takes a jibe at accountability court yet again

Once again targeting the accountability court, deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif claimed that when it comes to his proceedings the court has different rules and parameters while in cases of others' proceedings, the rules and parameters are different.
Speaking to the media after his hearing at the accountability court on Wednesday, Sharif said that Supreme Court’s detailed order rejecting their petition to review the Panama Papers case was a message given to the accountability court to punish Sharif at all cost.
Sharif further said that he was framed in 1999 when his party was overthrown by a military coup in the plane hijacking case. He added that he was being framed again.
Meanwhile, before the proceedings Nawaz also spoke to the media. On being asked to comment on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan getting bail in four cases registered against him during 2014 sit-in, Nawaz accused courts of having double standards.
“We are striving against these double standards and will take this struggle to its logical end,” he added.
