PA introduces bill to prohibit manufacture, sale of Gutka, Mainpuri

KARACHI: The Sindh Assembly Tuesday introduced the Sindh prohibition on manufacture, promotion and sale of Gutka and Mainpuri private bill 2017 here.

The bill was tabled by PPP-MPA Rubina Saadat Qiamkhani.

Speaking regarding the bill she said that there are many causes of "Mouth Cancer" but the consumption of Gutka and Mainpuri play an important role to this effect.

She said, "Our young generation is leading towards deterioration due to this menace."

She demanded action against the manufacturers of Gutka and Mainpuri and a blanket ban on it.
