Cristiano Ronaldo on ISIS hit list

In another shocking tweet, terror organisation ISIS have threatened the World footballer of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo, as the terror outfit has issued a poster of the Portuguese legend on his knees in an execution scene.

The new poster came after fellow world football superstarts, Lionel Messi and Neymar, were mocked for ISIS propaganda photos. In one of the disturbing images by the pro-IS Wafa Media Foundation, Barcelona star Messi appeared beheaded while Neymar was pictured on his knees crying, while a terrorist stood next to both with a knife in his hands.

The poster came just days after Argentine football chiefs held a meeting with the Russian ambassador over safety fears sparked by an ISIS mock up of Messi crying blood.

In the latest disturbing image, Real Madrid superstar Ronaldo can be seen with a black eye and his hands tied behind his back on his knees in the foreground, a masked executioner standing behind him holding up a knife, the pair atop rubble and broken bones.

"Our words are what you see NOT what you hear. So, just you wait. We are WAITING too..." reads the message on the poster.

It is one of a growing collection of images released in a shocking campaign by the ISIS-affiliated group, who aim their output at Westerners.
