Police Control Room for Muharram security

KARACHI: The City Police has set up a Central Control Room to monitor the security arrangements during the month of Muharram at the Central Police Office Karachi.

In this regard, Inspector General of Sindh Police, Mushtaq Ahmed Shah has been informed in a detailed report that the Control Room would monitor the situation round the clock from Muharram 1 to 11, said a statement issued here on Wednesday.

It said The officials of DSP rank would supervise the monitoring at the Control Room.

The DIGPs and SSPs of the concerned districts would communicate information during the monitoring to the Additional IGP Karachi Range Monitoring Cell on 021-99212663.
