FBR extends date for filing of IT return

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the date for filing of Income Tax Returns / Statements of final taxation alongwith payment of tax for Tax year 2011 to November 30.

A statement of the FBR issued here said that in exercise of the powers conferred under section 214A of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, Federal Board of Revenue has extend the date of filing of income tax returns alongwith payment of tax for the Tax Year 2011.

Returns of Total Income/Statements of final taxation due on November 21, the date of filling is extended to November 30, 2011.
