KARACHI: Quality and affordable education should be provided to every child as this is his basic right.
This was stressed by the Sindh Minister for Human Rights, Ms. Nadia Gabol, here on Tuesday. In a statement she said that Pakistan lags behind as far as the enrolment in primary and secondary school education is concerned.
She called upon the private sector to come forward and extend cooperation towards the governmental efforts for the provision of quality and affordable education to the children in the country.
Ms. Nadia Gabol also emphasised the need for concerted efforts towards addressing the problems of malnutrition and child labour in the society.
She said that provision of better education to the children would help secure the future of the country and enable it to make headway in the comity of nations.
