BUCHAREST: Romania's finance ministry sold 703 million lei ($173.05 million) worth of Dec. 2022 treasury bonds on Thursday, with the average accepted yield set at 2.81 percent, central bank data showed.
Debt managers last issued the paper in February at an average yield of 3.30 percent.
Also on Thursday, the finance ministry sold 1.0 billion lei worth of one-year bills.
So far this year, Romania has sold 20.44 billion lei and 240 million euros of domestic bills and bonds. It has tapped foreign markets for 1.75 billion euros of 2027 and 2035 Eurobonds.
