PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Barrister Masood Kausar has asked the political administration of Khyber Agency to be fully alert to the situation emerging in wake of the steps underway to overcome the law and order problems in certain parts of the agency and bring normalcy therein and directed that every effort should be made to minimize the difficulties of the dislocated tribesmen.
Talking to the Political Agent, Khyber Agency, Mutahar Zeb, who called on him at Governor's House, Peshawar, the Governor said, no doubt it is a difficult situation yet of timely nature and the efforts of both the security forces and administration to overcome the challenges are apprecitable.
The Governor desired that dislocated families must be facilitated especially in provision of camping, edibles and healthcare.
The Political administration, he further stressed, should also ensure provision of the items of daily use, besides continuing effective supervision of the relief arrangements.
He also referred to his recent visit to the Jalozai Camp, near Pabbi in District Nowshera and expressed the hope that the relief measures would have been further improved to facilitate the internally dislocated tribesmen. It merits a mention here that more than 1300 tribal families, dislocated from Khyber Agency have temporary been lodged in the camp.
The Political Agent of Khyber Agency briefed the Governor about law and order situation in the agency especially in wake of the security measures being taken to protect the life and property of peaceful tribesmen. He also highlighted the steps underway to facilitate the dislocated tribesmen and to minimize their difficulties.
