BEIJING: At least 19 miners were killed Thursday in a coal mine accident in southwest China, state media reported, the latest in a string of incidents to hit the country's vast mining industry.
The accident in Yunnan province left around 24 other workers trapped, and it was not immediately clear if they were still alive or not, the official Xinhua news agency said.
