FPCCI hails granting of MFN status to India
ISLAMABAD: Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) welcomed Wednesday the government's decision of granting Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status to India, hoping the step would help boost bilateral trade relations.
Welcoming the government decision, acting president FPCCI Amir Ata Bajwa, Saarc Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vice President Iftikhar Ali Malik and Chairman Business Council Panel Tariq Sayeed said in a joint statement here that the decision would prove to be an important step in boosting bilateral trade and diplomatic relations and also mitigate the mistrust among the peoples of the two countries.
They also paid tributes to the Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and assured him of full support of the business community in this regard.
