Workshop on environmental journalism postponed

The consultative workshop on environmental journalism scheduled to be held in the metropolis from July 9 has been postponed. An announcement here said that the moot has been postponed owing to unavoidable circumstances.
The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Pakistan, was to hold the two-day moot under the Indus for All Programme, in collaboration with the European Union.
The purpose of the workshop and exposure visit was to acquaint the journalists with the existing environmental issues through underlining the significance of the critical ecosystems and natural resources of Pakistan in general and the Indus Ecoregion in particular. Any fresh dates for such a moot would be announced later.
