Two hours curfew relaxed in G-6 sector

For the first time, the government allowed some relaxation in curfew hours from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm so that people of sector G-6 could buy edibles items from the market. The Utility Stores mobile vans provided food items to the people of G-6 area, however, despite relaxation in curfew for two hours Aabpara and Melody markets remained closed.
Most of the residents of G-6 have sent their families to safe places as it was not possible to find cooked food and other daily use items from nearby markets. Talking to Business Recorder, a resident of G-6 said that there is shortage of power milk, bread, vegetable oil and other essential items. Moreover, most of the shops that were open in Melody Market during curfew relaxation hours were selling rotten vegetables as it was not possible to bring fresh vegetable to shops during curfew hours.
Utility Stores mobile vans provided edibles to the people, however, they waited in long queues and it was not possible for every person to buy food items. Most of the people in vehicles were not allowed to reach the markets and Utility mobile vans to buy edibles for their families. The people also complained of basic life saving drugs shortage, edible items and other necessities of life and the items provided to them on Utility mobile vans were not sufficient to fulfill their needs.
