Professor Dr Atta-ur-Rehman, Chairman, Higher Education Commission (HEC) will inaugurate International Conference on Information and Emerging Technologies (ICIET-2007) at the main campus of National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences here on July 6. Pakistan Student Congress (PSC-2007) will also be held on July 7 at the same venue.
ICIET-2007 would bring in innovative ideas, which could also be implemented in Pakistan in future to enable the country to prosper and compete with the developing world. The conference will be followed by unique workshop with the support of HEC. Around 300 national and international speakers would be participating in the conference.
International speakers are arriving from United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Netherland while national speakers from GIK, Nust, NUCS-FAST, LUMS, UET and NED would be participating. PSC - 2007 is an annual gathering of Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) members including student representatives from all the IEEE student branches of Pakistan and professionals from all over the world.
The congress would focus on the idea of bringing together all the student branches in Pakistan and to share their knowledge, expertise and findings with researchers and students so as to foster research activities in the country with an idea of interactive community.
