Mixed trend on ISE

Mixed trend was observed at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls and bears had a close fight amid increase in index. ISE-10 Index showed an increase of 1.09 points as it moved from 2,744.86 to 2,745.95 points. The overall turnover amounted to 3,159,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 4,593,700 shares.
Total 143 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (87) closed in positive territory, 50 landed in minus column, whereas six companies remained pegged to their previous levels. The volume of Arif Habib Securities was 632,100 shares. The turnover of Fauji Cement was 442,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 576,000 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 253,100 shares.
