The Karachi Port handled 70,902 tonnes cargo including 45,539 tonnes import, 25,363 tonnes export cargo and 1,286 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 56,803 tonnes dry cargo including 17,203 tonnes general cargo; 14,212 tonnes fertiliser; 17,955 tonnes coal; 7,433 tonnes cement and 14,099 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Four ships namely M.T. Johar, Gemini, Mary-H and Kama Bhum sailed out to sea during the report period. Seven vessels viz Wan Hai-311, Ninos, Haje Khereh, Pacific Champ, Goldan Lion, Valbella and Peter Paul are currently at the berths.
Six ships namely F T Chien Chung 601, Ninos, Wan Hai-311, Harmony, Sea Princess and Jon Jin 2 expected to sail on Tuesday, while two vessels viz Peter Paul and Mol Admiration expected to sail on Wednesday.
Six vessels viz North Pole, M.T. Swat, Corinthiakos, Iran Baabaei, Apl Brisbane and Caribbean Carrier due to arrive on Tuesday, while eight ships namely Andino Park, Cosco Lian Yun Gan, Soon Fu, Hyundai Stride, Silver Sen, Sari, Al Abdulla and Red Sea Spirit are due to arrive on Wednesday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 64,715 tonnes comprising 48,786 tonnes import and 15,929 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 2,533 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Tuesday. The cargo comprised of 3,886 tonnes edible oil; 11,670 tonnes coal; 6,098 tonnes iron ore and 43,061 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three ships namely C.V. Lucien, M.V. Guang Meng Feng and M.V. Delta Ranger sailed out to sea during the report period. Two container vessels viz C.V. Maersk Dhaka and C.V. MSC Don Govanni expected to sail on Tuesday. A total of five ships namely Nedlloyed Oceania, S D Glory, Captain George-L, Canturion and Gemini carrying containers, seeds, edible oil and iron ore are currently at the outer anchorage.
Five vessels viz C.V. Maersk Dhaka, MSC Don Govanni, M.T. Pegasus-7, M.V. Delta Ranger and M.V. Guang Meng Feng are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, edible oil, coal and iron ore respectively during last 24 hours.
Two ships namely Nedlloyed Oceania and S D Glory due to take berths at Container Terminal and Multipurpose Terminal respectively on Tuesday. Two vessels viz C.V. MSC Lucia and M.T. Keefan due to arrive on Tuesday, while three container ships namely C.V. Pacheco, C.V. ACX Mimosa and C.V. Emirates Jumerah are due to arrive on Wednesday.
