The Karachi Port handled 190,794 tonnes cargo including 159,289 tonnes import, 31,505 tonnes export cargo and 2,676 containers (TEUs) during last 48 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday.
The cargo comprised of 115,811 tonnes dry cargo including 57,135 tonnes general cargo; 21,903 tonnes fertiliser; 25,500 tonnes coal; 11,273 tonnes cement and 74,983 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Fourteen ships namely Ltc Calvin P. Titus, Iran Hesabi, Geo Searcher, Christin Debora, Dimitrisy-II, Sea Glory, Oel Esteem, Ocean Dominence, Puma, Jade Trader, Pacheco, Iron Butterfly, Oel Shreyas and Global Union sailed out to sea during the report period. Eight vessels viz Jade Trader, Oel Shreyas, Global Prince, Kama Bhum, Iron Butterfly, Puma, M.T. Johar and Global Union are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Gemini, Kama Bhum and Mary-H expected to sail on Monday. Four vessels viz Ninos, Full Wealth, Red Sea Spirit and Haje Khereh due to arrive on Monday, while fourteen ships namely North Pole, M.T. Swat, Corinthiakos, Mol Admiration, Wan Hai-311, Kuo Chang, Harmony, Iran Baabaei, Apl Brisbane, Cosco Lian Yun, Silver Sen, Sari, Caribbean Carrier and Maldive Cement are due to arrive on Tuesday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 63,084 tonnes comprising 47,648 tonnes import and 15,436 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 2,125 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Monday.
The cargo comprised of 6,121 tonnes edible oil; 11,341 tonnes coke; 9,780 tonnes coal and 36,125 tonnes containerised cargo. Four ships namely C.V. CMA CGM Aegean, C.V. MSC Germany, C.V. Pacheco and M.T. Sinar Agra sailed out to sea during the report period.
Three vessels viz C.V. Lucien, M.V. Guang Meng Feng and M.V. Delta Ranger expected to sail on Monday. A total of five ships namely Maersk Dhaka, MSC Don Govanni, Captain George-L, Canturion and Hamburg Harmony carrying containers and iron ore are currently at the outer anchorage. Seven vessels viz C.V. Lucien, C.V. Pacheco, C.V. MSC Germany, C.V. CMA CGM Aegean, M.T. Pegasus, M.V. Delta Ranger and M.V. Guang Meng Feng are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, edible oil, coal and coke respectively during last 24 hours.
Four ships namely C.V. Maersk Dhaka, MSC Don Govanni, M.V. SD Glory and M.V. Hamburg Harmony due to take berths at Container Terminal, Multipurpose Terminal and IOC Berth respectively on Monday. One ship namely M.T. Gemini due to arrive on Monday, while three more ships namely C.V. Nedlloyed Asia, C.V. MSC Lucia and M.T. Keefan are due to arrive on Tuesday.
