The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday sought all details of Qadirpur Compression Project bidding process, including minutes of meetings, advertisements, and other relevant record.
The SHC division bench comprising Justice Sarmad Jalal Usmani and Justice Maqbool Baqar was hearing a petition filed by Zafar Mehmood Malik, a shareholder of Oil & Gas Development Company Ltd (OGDCL), against an OGDCL decision to award contract of the said project to a Chinese consortium, the China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation.
The SHC on January 11, 2007 restrained the OGDCL from executing contract of the Qadirpur Compression Project to any company but later withdrew the stay.
