Federal Minister for Industries, Production and Special Initiatives Jahangir Khan Tareen will review "Aik Hunar, Aik Nagar" (Ahan) programme, initiated by the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (Smeda) for up-gradation of the non-farm enterprises in the rural areas on Monday July 2, 2007 at Karachi.
He will be accompanied by Hina Rabbani Khar, Minister of State on EAD, Shahid Rashid, CEO, Smeda and Sohail Amir, Project Director, Ahan during this review meeting. The ministers will obtain feedback from the direct beneficiaries of Ahan at a meeting held on this occasion.
Smeda has also arranged a display of the products selected for Ahan Pilot Projects. Members of the Steering Committee constituted by the Prime Minister to expedite progress of Ahan programme would examine display of products in the leadership of Federal Minister IP&SI.
