Punjab Governor, Lieutenant General Khalid Maqbool (Retd) has said new campuses of Education University (E Varsity) will be established as many as in 11 cities. He stated this while addressing the first convocation of Education University, here on Saturday.
Referring to the government efforts aimed at promoting education in the country, he stated that government is attaching top priority to promote education and in this regard, Rs one trillion have been allocated.
He further stated that the government is taking steps for the resolution of problems confronting to the teachers. The governor advised the teachers to get complete know how of a singular subject so that goal of enhancing educational standard could be achieved. He was of the view that objective of enhancing education standard could not be achieved without streamlining the educational affairs.
