The Karachi Port handled 128,409 tonnes cargo including 109,761 tonnes import, 18,648 tonnes export cargo and 3,687 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 66,142 tonnes dry cargo including 43,832 tonnes general cargo; 6,803 tonnes fertiliser; 13,000 tonnes coal; 2,507 tonnes cement and 62,267 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Five ships namely Al-Ihsaa, Apl Shenzhan, Lucky Arrow, Chemstar Brave and Bunga Kenari sailed out to sea during the report period. Six vessels viz Hyundai Future, Sinar Bandung, YM Faha, Al-Ihsaa, Makran and Banglar Maya are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Valentine-1, YM Sun and Sinar Bandung expected to sail on Thursday, while two vessels viz Makran and Oel Esteem expected to sail on Friday.
Three vessels viz Ltc Calvin P. Titus, Gulf Bridge and Sea Princess due to arrive on Thursday, while five ships namely Sea Glory, Iran Hesabi, Golden Lion, Red Sea Spirit and Iron Butterfly are due to arrive on Friday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 86,884 tonnes comprising 72,060 tonnes import and 14,824 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 2,108 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Thursday. The cargo comprised of 48,013 tonnes diesel oil; 3,035 tonnes chemicals and 35,836 tonnes containerised cargo.
Four ships namely C.V. Nedlloyed Asia, C.V. Maersk Carolina, C.V. ACX Tsubaki and M.V. Oriental Miho sailed out to sea during the report period. Two vessels viz C.V. MSC Aurora and M.T. Al-Maqwa expected to sail on Thursday.
A total of two ships namely Al-Ihsaa and Guang Meng Feng carrying containers and coke are currently at the outer anchorage.
Six vessels viz C.V. ACX Tsubaki, C.V. MSC Aurora, C.V. Maersk Carolina, C.V. Nedlloyed Asia, M.T. Al-Maqwa and M.T. Oriental Miho are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, diesel oil and chemicals respectively during last 24 hours.
Four ships namely C.V. Al-Ihsaa, C.V. Emirates Adam, M.T. Negotiator and M.V. Guang Meng Feng due to take berths at Container Terminal, Multipurpose Terminal and IOC Berth respectively on Thursday.
Three vessels viz M.V. Captain Georg-L, M.V. Humburgger Harmoney and M.V. Delta Ranger with iron ore and coal are due to arrive on Thursday, while six more ships namely M.T. Pegasus, M.T. Sinar Agra, C.V. Sima Paya, C.V. CMA CGM Aegean and M.T. Grigoioussa-1 with edible oil, chemicals, containers and furnace oil are due to arrive on Friday.
