1,162 gastro patients admitted

Dr Muhammad Faheem, Incharge, Emergency Ward, Nishter Hospital Multan said 1,162 gastro patients were admitted to emergency ward during the last 12 days. Talking to newsmen, he said of the 1,162 new gastro patients, 799 were admitted to the emergency ward due to their serious condition.
He said three persons had died of gastro-enteritis from Multan, Khanewal and Vehari. He advised the people to use boiled water for drinking, cover their heads to avoid direct exposure to the sun and abstain from eatable and drinks sold by vendors.
