Iran has completed construction of six kilometers of concrete wall along Pakistan-Iran border. According to details, Iranian authorities sealed Pakistan-Iran border for about two and half months after bomb explosion in Zahidan city. Later they started construction of concrete wall, which is about 10 feet high and 3 to 4 feet wide.
When Iranians started construction of wall, traders, tribal elders and others apprised high ups through media but so far no steps were taken by the Pakistani authorities. This has created apprehensions in the minds of the people in border area.
Provincial and district authorities were reluctant to resolve problems of the people living along the border and about building of wall along Pakistan-Iran border. They were of the view that Baloch people are living on both side of Pakistan-Iran border. We have brotherhood, neighbourhood and centuries old relations with each other. We never felt any difficulty on both sides of the border. Construction of wall has created difference among the people of Pakistan and Iran.
They said instead of keeping our difficulties and movement these were ignored.
Answering a question people said that central leader of National Party and leader of opposition in Balochistan Assembly Kachkol Ali Advocate raised a voice for Balochistan's right by moving an adjournment motion about construction of wall in provincial assembly but the rulers rejected this motion.
