Naval chief leaves for Russia

Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Afzal Tahir, departed on an official visit to Russia. He was seen off at Islamabad International Airport by Chief of Staff Vice Admiral Asaf Humayun, Deputy Chief of Mission Russian Embassy Artem Rudnitsky, Captain (Navy) K L Zadorin, Acting Air & Naval Attaché, and other senior Pakistan Navy officers, said a press release issued on Monday.
During the visit, Chief of the Naval Staff will hold talks with his counterpart and other senior defence officials and discuss matters of mutual interest. Chief of Staff, Vice Admiral Asaf Humayun would be acting chief of the Naval Staff in his absence.-PR
