Minister for Railways Rashid Ahmed has said that the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad will soon be linked with railway for mass transit, and tenders in this regard have been invited. He said this would help facilitate thousands of commuters of the twin cities.
He was addressing a reception hosted for Jamil Ahmed Mughal, newly elected chairman of Rawalpindi District Public Safety Commission (DPSC) in front of the Lal Haveli here late on Sunday night. Besides Nazims, Naib Nazims and women councillors a large number of people attended the function.
