He was addressing the certificate distribution ceremony for assistant collectors of 33rd CTP at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) Auditorium, here on Saturday.
Yusuf said that weaknesses have been identified in both the sectors, therefore, public and private sectors should identify solutions to meet international standards. He said that tariff structure was ideal in the country but facing challenges of international trades needed to be addressed. He said that at Karachi International Containers Terminal (KICT) the dwell time of cargo had been cut to few hours as compared to six to seven days in the past.
