Report sought on pre-monsoon arrangements

The Punjab government has directed the managing directors of Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa), Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and Multan to furnish a confirmation report regarding the preventive measures made for monsoon season, according to a circular here on Tuesday.
The officers have also been directed to furnish information regarding availability of de-watering sets with classification available with Wasa, number of mobile de-watering sets, number of critical points where these sets are required and location of disposal pumps.
