As many as four rivers of NWFP are flowing above normal level as high floods have been reported in river Swat, Shah Alam, Kabul and Kunhar where the water discharge has been recorded at 17679, 8008, 26693 and 6530 cusecs respectively.
According to a report of the NWFP Flood Warning Center, high water discharge has been recorded at Khwarzakhela in river Swat, at Adezai bridge in river Kabul, at Tukhtabad in river Shah Alam and at Garhi Habibullah in river Kunhar.
Moreover, medium floods have been reported at Warsak and Nowshera in Kabul river where the water release has been recorded at 54510 and 66800 cusecs respectively. Similarly, water discharge remained 18685 in River Naguman at Chrasadda road whereas water release remained normal at Attock in river Indus where it has been recorded at 221700 cusecs on Wednesday.
