Pakistani passengers looking forward to the Dubai Summer Surprises packages will be delighted to know that weeks of fun and excitement can be theirs for as little as $50. DSS is very popular with Pakistani travellers of Emirates Airline.
Statistics released by Emirates place Pakistan as the second largest consumer of the airline's DSS packages in 2006; followed by Kuwait and Bahrain, said a press release issued on Wednesday.
Sharing his comments on the growing popularity of Dubai Summer Surprises, Adnan Kazim, Emirates' Vice President Pakistan, said: "Successfully venturing into its tenth year, DSS continues to attract more Pakistani visitors each summer. Pakistanis spending their holidays in Dubai, or flying onwards to Europe and USA can enjoy the special DSS packages.
During this time, visitors will be enthralled to witness the city of Dubai transform into a dazzling entertainment center for children and a shopping haven for adults.
Valid from 21st June until 31st August 2007, the packages must be booked for a minimum of three nights and offer customers a choice of 14 city and beach hotels in various price-brackets. The prices include all accommodation-related taxes and service charges and are available to all Emirates' passengers regardless of class of travel.
As part of the packages, customers are treated to a personalised meet-and-assist service on arrival at Dubai International Airport. They also receive an Arabian Adventures Welcome Pack, including a special discount voucher booklet for Wafi City, one of Dubai's premier malls.
First and Business Class passengers receive chauffeur-driven transfers between Dubai International Airport and the hotel. Emirates travellers also receive an additional 10 kg free baggage allowance on return/onward flights from Dubai to accommodate all the great DSS bargain shopping they do.-PR
