The Punjab government has acquired as many as 500 acres of a suitable land near Sambrial along the main Sialkot-Sambrial-Wazirabad Road for establishment of an international standard engineering university.
Sialkot DCO Captain Atta Muhammad Khan (Retd) told the newsmen, here that it would be a State of the Art and international standard Engineering University at Sialkot to be established by the federal, provincial and district governments, Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan in active collaboration with opulent Sialkot business community and Swedish government.
He said that the construction of this proposed engineering university at Sialkot would soon be started under supervision of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). He said that the Swedish government would also provide complete technical, construction assistance and guidance for this purpose. Sialkot DCO said that this engineering university would be a great and marvellous gift to the next generation by the trend.
