China is to launch a new satellite China-SAT-6 into orbit in the very near future. Sources said that it would be 101st lift off for the domestically developed long series carrier rockets, Radio China reported.
China is working on the development of a new generation rocket with the focus put on improved overall ability and enhanced carrying capacity. The maximum carrying capacity of the long-range rockets will be raised to 25 tons from the current 9.5 tons.
