The Karachi Port handled 88,810 tonnes cargo including 76,208 tonnes import, 12,602 tonnes export cargo and 3,739 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday. The cargo comprised of 56,674 tonnes dry cargo including 44,527 tonnes general cargo; 2,053 tonnes iron scrap; 6,450 tonnes coal; 3,644 tonnes cement and 32,136 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Six ships namely Hayley Nadhi, Apl Yokohama, Y M Faha, Al-Wajba, Lalazar and Splandour sailed out to sea during the report period. Ten vessels viz Chem Baltic, Oel Esteem, Pacific Arrow, Sea Brilliance, Al-Wajba, Hyundai Highway, Sinai, Al Mansourah, Afamia and Ninos are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely Hyundai Highway and Evdoxia expected to sail on Thursday, while four vessels viz Chem Baltic, Islamabad, Nyzdan and Oel Esteem expected to sail on Friday.
Eight vessels viz Oel Shreyas, Ltc Calvin P. Titas, Emirates Jumeirah, Pacific Highway, Maersk Willow, B. Europe, Golina and Pontica are due to arrive on Friday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 56,674 tonnes comprising 41,324 tonnes import and 15,350 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 1,887 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 3,626 tonnes edible oil, 17,740 tonnes iron ore; 3,229 tonnes rice and 32,079 tonnes containerised cargo. Two ships namely C.V. Nedlloyd Africa and C.V. ACX Jasmine sailed out to sea during the report period. Two vessels viz C.V. MSC Pride and M.T. Spruce Galaxy are expected to sail on Thursday. M.T. New Seto Kaze is currently at the outer anchorage.
Five vessels viz C.V. MSC Pride, C.V. ACX Jasmine, M.V. Khairpur, M.T. Spruce Galaxy and M.V. Adhua are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, rice, edible oil and iron ore respectively during the report period. Two ships namely C.V. Al-Wajba and M.V. BBC Asia due to take berths at Container Terminal and Multipurpose Terminal respectively on Thursday.
Three vessels viz C.V. MSC Socotra, M.T. Doris and M.T. Regent with containers, edible oil and crude oil due to arrive on Thursday, while four more ships namely C.V. CSAN Ningbo, C.V. CMA CGM Turkey, C.V. MSC Zenzibar and M.T. Al-Maqwa with containers and diesel oil are due to arrive on Friday.
