Born in Catania in 1958, Massimo Siragusa lives in Rome where he teaches photography at IED, European Institute Of Design.

His works have been exhibited in several museums and galleries in Italy and abroad. His pictures have been published in the most important magazines and he has collaborated with several companies such as Lavazza, IGP, Provencia Di Milano, Kodak, ENI, BAT Italia, Aeroportidi Milano, Bosch, Alfa Romeo, A2A, Autostrada Pedemontana, F21, Boscolo Hotels, Mychef, Versace, Biszza, Kartell, Conad, Unipol Banca, Telecom Italia and Coca-Cola.

He is represented by Contrasto Gallery in Milan, by Galleria Del Cembalo in Rome and Polka Galarie in Paris.

The Orfei circus has its origins back in 1820. Modern-day circuses balance tradition with innovation. While old-style outfits of sawdust, Big Top and performing animals still exist, many circuses are becoming more theatrical in their presentation. The latest in sound and lighting technology is grafted on to traditional skill, even in long-established Italian circus families.
