Cricket enthusiast on Thursday queued outside banks in Lahore, as they beat the heat to get their hands on Pakistan Super League (PSL) final tickets scheduled to be held on March, 5 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
According to media reports, fans from across Punjab made their way to the provincial capital, some informed that they had queued as early as 7:00 am outside the bank.
Some came without breakfast and sat on the floor to eat as they waited for their turn.
Most people who had gathered outside the banks wanted the cheapest tickets available at Rs 500.
However, there efforts mostly ended in vain, while bank officials said they had nothing to do with it as they were provided tickets by the PCB. While, the online booking of tickets has also been completed.
Despite the departure of high profile foreign players from the tournament, the fans overwhelming love for cricket is pushing them to grab a part of the PSL final.
The PCB on the other hand, considering the huge demand by fans, had decided to cut short its corporate commitments and provide more tickets to banks for sale, informed officials.
