KARACHI: On Wednesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 48985.24 with a positive change of 451.01 and volume of 43,898,460 shares.

High and Low were 48985.75 and 48534.23 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 115,724,560 shares with 331 total traded companies out of which 254 were up, 64 were down and 13 were unchanged.

CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 16,286,900 shares. It was followed by ENGINEERING with a total traded volume of 13,699,000 shares.

The three top traded companies were Power Cement Ltd. with a volume of 7,466,000 and price per share of 17.94 (1.00), Aisha Steel Mill with a volume 6,538,500 of price per share of 24.37 (0.91), Lotte Chemical with a volume 6,125,500 of price per share of 11.00 (0.22).

The top three advancers were Millat Tractors with price per share 1207.98 (57.52), Indus Motor Co with price per share of 1647.00 (52.00) and Sanofi-Aventis share of 2450.00 (50.00).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 3610.00 (190.00), Unilever Foods with price per share of 5701.00 (49.00) and Otsuka Pak per share of 216.00 (7.15).
