imageSHARJAH: The second edition of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL), would witness the reemergence of the age old rivalry between Karachi and Lahore, as Sangakkara led Karachi Kings would take on McCullum Qalandars tonight at Sharjah.

It seems a repeat of the last year PSL as the Qalandars and Kings, which remain one of the most star studded and expensive franchises, remain the two most underperforming sides as well in the ongoing tournament.

However, with a major facelift two of the modern cricket most celebrated batsmen Kumar Sangakkara and Brendon McCullum now leads Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars, respectively.

Furthermore, Chris Gayle has switched homes and now resides in the company of Kings. While, the impact of Gayle has unfortunately been to the minimum, this could be the match where Gayle storm finally hit the PSL.

Karachi sits at the bottom of the table, losing both their matches while Lahore just sits a step above with one win and two losses. Kings only win at the PSL has come against Qalandars last year, although the Qalandars under McCullums captaincy are much more aggressive this time around, the Sangakkara led Kings would be eyeing to topple the Qalandars and open their account at PSL II.

The Kings would be bringing in Left Arm quick Usman Khan Shenwari from the Emerging Category, in place of leg spinner Abrar Ahmed, who would not play due to injury.
