Pakistanis react on Valentine's Day getting banned across the country

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday prohibited the celebration of Valentine's Day in public spaces across the country with immediate effect. PEMRA (Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority) too warned to stop all Valentine's Day promotions immediately.

While few show their support to the court decision, others called it a 'bizarre order'. In major cities, various restaurants, delivery services and bakeries come up with Valentine's Day promotions and every year it draws mixed reactions from the Pakistani citizens.
