Pakistani middle order batsman Umar Akmal has achieved a record albeit an embarrassing one, after the Qalandars batsmen went on a duck against the Peshawar Zalmis on Sunday.
Akmal now has 24 ducks under his belt, the most for any batsman in T20 cricket, surpassing Herschelle Gibbs, Sri Lanka's Tillakaratne Dilshan, and West Indies' Dwayne Smith, who are all tied on 23,
The unwanted record came after Akmal was caught on slips by Mohammad Hafeez of Hassan Ali's delivery without opening his account, during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) low scoring thriller between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai.
Akmal has once again failed to impress with his batting, after managing to score only 35 runs in his appearance in three innings, during the onging second edition of PSL.
