For Pakistanis cricket is not just a game, but fortunately one of the biggest uniting forces and an emblem of Pakistans soft image.
Cashing on cricket potential, Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Peshawar Zalmi has brought in 19 cancer patients from Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital in Lahore to watch the opener of the PSL between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

"It is a dream come true for us to visit Dubai and watch the cricket match live, said Suraj Kumar who comes from the Thar area, quoted Khaleej Times.
"We are excited to meet Lala (Shahid Afridi) and other top stars of world cricket," added Suraj.
Another patient Khizar Sajid who hails from Lahore, said,"It is only because of Peshawar Zalmi that I am here and I will remember this trip for the whole of my life."
This is not the first time Peshawar Zalmi has arranged such a trip, last year sponsored a trip, to take 150 children from the Army Public School (APS) to the PSL first edition.
