Pakistan Blind Cricket Team record their eighth consecutive win at the ongoing T20 World Cup for Blind Cricket, after they thrashed West Indian by 182 runs, at Karnataka State Cricket Association Ground, India on Wednesday.
Pakistan were able to best their own world record of the highest score by hitting 373 runs against West Indies, preceding the preivious 364 runs scored by Pakistan interestingly, against the same opponent in 2012 World Cup for Blind.
Pakistan batting first, had a thumping start enjoying an opening stand of 198 runs, with Muhammad Jamil hiting 100 runs before he was retired hurt, whereas his partner Riasat Khan was run out on 94 runs.
Jamil century came in 36 balls consisting of 20 fours, while Riasat 94 came in just 32 balls smashing 9 fours and 2 sixes.
Muhammad Zafar 46 of 14 deliveries and Mohsin Khan (32), batting sixth and seventh, respectively took Pakistan to the record score of 373.
In reply the West Indians, managed to hit only 191 runs at the loss of nine wickets. Wicketkeeper batsman Dennal Deboya was the top scorer for the West Indies with 59.
For Pakistan Sajid Nawaz, Muhammad Akram, Riasat Khan, Anees Javed and Mohsin Khan picked one wicket a piece.
Pakistan will now play their last league match on Thursday against Australia.
